Anki cards
Flashcards in your own words, made in real Anki and tagged back to the env, session and concept.
yat:ankiAnki cards
yat:anki connects to Anki desktop through the AnkiConnect add-on. Anki's own scheduler stays in charge of reviews.
What you say
| You say | What happens |
|---|---|
card this / make a card | A card in your wording, then back to the session |
check my leeches | Cards Anki has flagged as leeches, offered for relearning |
anki review | A short batched review in chat, five cards at a time |
anki stats | Cards reviewed and failed today |
You write the card
Phrasing a card is part of learning it, so the tutor never drafts card content unless you ask for help phrasing; then it offers variants and you pick. A line from your notebook is already your wording. Every card gets three tags (env, session date, concept), which is how it links back.
When Anki isn't running
If you asked for a card, the tutor stops and tells you to open Anki. When yat:session checks in on its own at resume or wrap up, it skips silently and never blocks.
Files it touches
| Reads | Writes |
|---|---|
memory/ontology/graph.jsonl, envs/<env>/env.toml | memory/ontology/graph.jsonl (a node per card) |
Terminal: plumbing. Needs Anki desktop with AnkiConnect; setup is in harness/plugins/anki/.
